Contracts and Earnings Systems

Contracts
One of our main goals for this simulation is to have a deep contract system. This is how it will work.
After competing in The Ultimate Fighter, selected fighters will be offered their first contract.
1. Entry Level Contract
An entry level contract is the very first contract you will be assigned. Depending on how well you performed in The Ultimate Fighter, your salary could be in a range of $10,000 per fight up to $50,000 per fight (barring a special fight clause) and will always be for 3 fights. This will be offered to you following The Ultimate Fighter Competition. There are no contract extensions for entry level contracts.
2. Amateur Level Contract
Following your entry level contract, the contract manager for your weight class will decide if they would like to resign you. If you are signed to another contract, this contract will be an amateur level contract. The salary range for amateur level contracts range between a minimum of $30,000 per fight and a maximum of $100,000 per fight. The length for amateur level contracts range between a minimum of 2 fights and a maximum of 5 fights. There are no contract extensions for amateur level contracts.
3. Veteran Level Contract
Following your amateur level contract, the contract manager for your weight class will decide if they would like to resign you. If you are signed to another contract, this contract will be a veteran level contract. The salary range for veteran level contracts range between a minimum of $40,000 per fight and a maximum of $200,000 per fight. The length for veteran level contracts range between a minimum of 3 fights and a maximum of 10 fights. Contract extensions are available when there are 2 or less fights remaining on the contract.
4. Champion Level Contract
Upon winning a championship belt, your contract will automatically be upgraded to a championship level contract. You will have this contract while you hold your championship belt. You will receive $500,000 per fight and the contract will not be terminated until you lose your belt. Upon losing your belt, you will be offered a veteran level contract at maximum salary for 4 fights that will be eligible for extension.
Contract Extensions
Veteran level contracts are available for contract extensions. Contract extensions will be offered by the contract manager for the specified weight class. When offering a contract extension, salary must increase by a minimum of $10,000 per fight. Fighters will be messaged with their contract extension offers over the website.
Total Fighter Earnings
Total fighter earnings will be tracked for every fighter that participates in the X1UFC. The spreadsheet will be released upon the league's launch.
